The Minnehaha Regional Park attracts upwards of 850,000 visitors a year. They come for the lush, awe-inspiring 53-foot high waterfall, and stay for the cool limestone bluffs and to take in the river’s scenery.

If your idea of tranquility involves the calming sounds of rushing water, you won’t want to miss Minnehaha Regional Park. Did we mention there’s a wading pool, too?

2. Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

For the art fans who enjoy being outdoors, there’s the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. With its many larger than life installations, the Garden is every art and outdoor aficionado’s dream.

With over 40 works to view at any given time, the Garden is sure to offer you some great inspiration. You might even decide to start a new project!

3. Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory has something for everyone. From remarkable animals to gorgeous gardens, parks, and art…there’s sure to be something to please everyone in your household.

Stop by the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. We’d recommend going to see the arctic foxes if you can.

4. The Midtown Greenway

Bikers and runners alike flock to the Midtown Greenway. The Greenway is 5-and-a-half miles long and features three lanes, accommodating bikers and runners of all experience levels. What’s great is that the Greenway is open 24/7, and much of it is separated off from the street, ensuring a safe bike ride or run for you and your companions.

Grab a map, get out there, and get that heart rate up.
