When staging your home, let in as much light as possible into each room. Before showings, open your blinds and pull back your curtains. And, if your light fixtures or lampshades are dingy or dated, consider replacing them. 

5. Upgrade Your Home’s Curb Appeal.

Make the most of your home’s exterior as it is the first thing the buyer will see. The exterior of your home is the buyer’s first impression and can even influence how they feel about the interior.. 

Consider planting flowers, cleaning your windows, trimming bushes, and mowing the lawn. Perk up the entrance with a fresh color of paint on the door and a fun welcome mat.
