November 2011 - Metcalf Delivers Decorated Trees for Festival of Trees in Rochester

Metcalf Moving & Storage sponsored the Festival of Trees, a fundraising event to benefit Hiawatha Homes in Rochester, Minnesota.  Hiawatha Homes provides a variety of community-based support for children, adults, and families with developmental, physical, or other disabilities.

The week long event includes silent and live auctions, and a variety of shows and activities for people of all ages.  The week kicks off with the Opening Night Gala, at which about 90 fully decorated trees are up for grabs.  Metcalf delivers all the trees to their recipients the following weekend.

This is the 22nd year Metcalf has sponsored the event, which is in its 26th year!

November 2011 - Metcalf Moving & Storage Receives 2011 Customer Choice and Performance Excellence Awards from Mayflower Transit

The Customer Choice award was presented to 6 agents nationwide and the Performance Excellence Award was given to 13 agents nationwide. These prestigious awards recognize agents based on customer service, claims, and safety records.

September 2011 - Metcalf Driver Eric Brittain Named Mayflower Van Operator of the Month Runner-Up

Eric Brittain was named Van Operator of the Month Runner-Up for September 2011.  Jerry Anderson received an Honorable Mention this month. 

July 2011 - Metcalf Driver Jerry Anderson Named Mayflower Van Operator of the Month

Jerry Anderson was once again named as Regional Van Operator of the Month for July 2011.  Honorable Mentions went to Terry Rosaaen and Eric Brittain.

May 2011 - Metcalf Driver Terry Rosaaen Named Mayflower Van Operator of the Month

Continuing his streak of recognition, Terry Rosaaen from the Rochester office was named Regional Van Operator of the Month for May 2011.  Honorable Mention went to Eric Brittain this month.

April 2011 - Metcalf Driver Jerry Anderson Named Mayflower Van Operator of the Month

Not for the first time, Jerry Anderson from Metcalf Moving & Storage was named Regional Van Operator of the Month among all Mayflower drivers nationwide.  Terry Rosaaen from the Rochester office was named runner up.

March 2011 - Donnet Krueger Presented with 2011 Mayflower Heart of Quality Award

This award is given to only nine people in the country, and Donnet Krueger from Metcalf Moving & Storage won the Mayflower Heart of Quality award for the SECOND time in six years.

August 2009 - J.D. Power & Associates Ranks Mayflower Transit Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Full-Service Moving Companies

October 2008 - Metcalf Moving & Storage Wins 2008 Integrity Award from the Better Business Bureau

Metcalf Moving & Storage is proud to be one of only three companies in Minnesota, and the only moving company, to win this award in 2008.

Metcalf employees Cindy Borup, Dale Stomberg, Trudy Fingal, Betty Wirth, and Aaron Archbold, along with owner, Jon Archbold, were on hand at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis for the award ceremony

October 2006 - Metcalf Driver Eric Brittain Named Mayflower Van Operator of the Year

Metcalf's own Eric Brittain was named driver of the year in the household goods division.  Eric and his wife, Laura, were in Colorado Springs, CO, to accept this prestigious award from Mayflower president, Rich McClure. 

Eric was chosen to receive this award based on meeting a wide range of criteria, including claims prevention, an exceptional safety record, overall superior performance, and superior customer satisfaction.  Eric has been with Metcalf Moving & Storage since 1990.
